Website terms of use

Last updated: 11 May 2026. These terms apply when you use sperring.software (the "Site"), operated by Sperring Software Consulting LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Who we are

The Site is operated by Sperring Software Consulting LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].

Who the Site is for

The Site is aimed at businesses and professionals considering consultancy or advisory services. Materials on the Site are for general information and marketing. They are not tailored to your specific situation and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, employment, or regulatory advice.

No client relationship from use alone

Use of the Site, sending an enquiry through the contact form, or following a link to schedule a call does not by itself create a consultancy, employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and us. Any engagement is only on terms agreed in writing (for example a statement of work, order form, or engagement letter) signed or otherwise accepted by both sides.

Intellectual property

We own or license the content on the Site (including text, layout, graphics, logos, and downloadable materials such as PDFs). You may view and temporarily download content for your own internal business use. You must not copy, scrape, republish, sell, or exploit the Site or its content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent, except where copying is allowed by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or third-party systems linked from the Site;
  • interfere with the proper working of the Site (including introducing malware or disproportionate traffic);
  • use the Site to send misleading enquiries, spam, or unsolicited bulk marketing.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or tools (for example scheduling or professional networks). Those services are independent from us. We do not control their content or privacy practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties that might otherwise apply (including as to satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the paragraph above, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, arising from or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Site or reliance on its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

Subject to those exceptions, our total aggregate liability to you arising from or in connection with the Site or these terms in any twelve-month period is limited to one hundred pounds sterling (£100).

Privacy

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

Changes

We may change these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Site.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising from or relating to the Site or these terms, except where you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom and mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home courts.
